In this exhibition François Morellet used the photographical blow up effect on some small sized paintings he produced when he was young and as he said lacking of space and audace.
The scenography designed for this exhibition allows the interaction between the original paintings and their monumental reproductions.
The kind of hide-and-seek game with the work due to the openwork grating, and the change of scale generates a sense of disorientation for the visitor, and leads the eye beyond the limits of the canvass.
