This observatory post is an indicator of urban modifications, the ones that happened in the past, and the ones to come. Le Dépeupleur becomes a crossing place where exchanges are made possible and amplified by the meeting of the 4 cardinal axes. These 4 points of observation invite users to experiment new orientations and perspectives on their city and their environment. In a particular place where everything had been destroyed and then rebuilt, this sculpture unit attracts the bodies, inviting to read the city in another way. Rising at 6,5 m high, Le Dépeupleur emerges as a chosen place to stop for a while and truly look at the surroundings. A frozen moment where visitors almost get ready to jump into the city.
